Dr. Simon completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri and received his B.S. degree in nutrition from Park College. He practiced as a chiropractor in Sedalia, Missouri before obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University Of Health Sciences College Of Osteopathic Medicine. He was a family practice physician with the Via Christi Riverside Health System, where he served on the hospital board. He joined with Dr. Greg Lakin to open New Medical Health Care in October of 2003. He is board certified in Family Practice, is a certified Independent Medical Examiner, a Medical Review Officer and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Simon is also DOT National Certified Medical Examiner and enjoys providing complimentary medicine including homeopathy and prolotherapy and is a trained Reiki Master.
Dr. Lakin completed his undergraduate degree from University of Northern Colorado and his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He obtained his law degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College. Dr. Lakin joined Dr. Simon in 2003 to open New Medical Health Care. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Currently Dr. Lakin, no longer sees patients at New Medical Health Care. He spends much of his time helping opiate addicted patients at Center for Change or seeing patients at one of Avitas skilled nursing facilities. He is also a partner in Physicians Development Group which is currently developing Acute Rehabilitation facilities in Kansas City, Colorado, and Arizona
Dr. Unruh has practiced pediatrics for over thirty years. Before joining New Medical Health Care in 2003, he was employed with the Via Christi Riverside Health System and served as Director of Medical Education.
Dr. Moore was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She received her undergraduate degree from Newman University and her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience. She attended Southern Colorado for her family practice residency and is trained in Osteopathic Manipulation. She joined New Medical Health Care in 2009, and is board certified in Family Medicine and DOT National Certified Medical Examiner.
Dr. Secrist received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his medical degree from A.T. Still University. Dr. Secrist has extensive experience in family practice, emergency medicine, and industrial medicine. He joined New Medical Health Care in 2005. He is board certified in family practice.
Lisa has degrees from both Friends University and Wichita State University. She graduated from Wichita State University Physician Assistant program in 2002. Lisa is a member of AAPA, KAPA, and NCCPA. She joined New Medical in 2004. She is a board certified physician assistant and DOT National Certified Medical Examiner.
She received her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience. She completed her residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She is a member of Sedgwick County Osteopathic Society and Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine where she serves on the executive committee. She is a FAA Senior Aviation Medical examiner and DOT National Certified Medical Examiner. Dr. St. Clair joined New Medical Health Care in 2006.
Dr. Forred completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, and received a B.S. degree from Friends University. Dr. Forred has practiced in Texas and Kansas. He has been clinic director at a busy and well respected chiropractic clinic. His special interests and expertise include the care of auto and work related injuries as well as spinal correction, rehabilitation and patient education. Dr. Forred is also a DOT National Certified Medical Examiner.
