NMHC providers and clinical staff perform Fit for Duty exams in coordination with functional job analysis requirements. We utilize Physical Capacity Profile Testing System with state-of-the-art computerized software, for Fit for Duty testing to determine return-to-work plans and to monitor the status of injured employees, including coordinating the reintroduction into the workplace. The Fit for Duty testing is also ADA and HIPAA compliant and has successfully undergone EEOC audits. NMHC implements a progressive schedule of increasing job activities until full return to work is achieved. Frequent evaluation and communication among employees, management, and our providers and staff are critical to ensure success.
NMHC staff is responsible for completing the necessary forms and reports, communicating the status of injured employees, and facilitating early return to work. The ultimate goal is resolution of injury and illness, including the determination of physical requirements in accordance with job duties. We understand people are your most important and expensive asset and we strive for the injured employee to return to work ASAP.
